Bot Squad offers a variety of robotics programs tailored to different age groups and interests. Each squad provides a unique STEM experience, all under our umbrella of collaboration and mutual support. Older students frequently mentor and assist younger squads, sharing their knowledge and passion.

FIRST LEGO League

FIRST LEGO League (FLL)

Age Group: Grades 4-8 (Ages 9-14)

FIRST LEGO League is a hands-on STEM program where students design, build, and program autonomous robots using LEGO systems and beginner-friendly coding tools. Teams take on an annual challenge that combines robot missions with a real-world research project. The program emphasizes teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving as students collaborate to develop innovative solutions.

VEX IQ Challenge

FIRST Robotics Challenge (FTC)

Age Group: Middle & High School (Up to Grade 12)

Through hands-on STEM exploration, students build, design, and program robots using metal parts, sensors, and advanced control systems to take on an annual challenge. FTC promotes engineering skills, innovation, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism® as teams work together to solve real-world problems.

VEX V5

Age Group: Middle & High School (Up to Grade 12)

VEX V5 Robotics is a hands-on STEM program where students design, build, and program robots using a versatile metal-based system, smart motors, and advanced sensors. Teams compete in an annual game that challenges their engineering, coding, and strategic thinking skills. VEX V5 emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving as students work together to tackle real-world engineering challenges.
